Direct Primary Care is a monthly (or annual) membership-based plan that allows you to see your healthcare provider for all of your primary care needs at an affordable monthly rate, based on the plan that best fits your needs.

How is our DPC plan unique?

Our DPC memberships are designed to keep your health and well-being as our top priority! Far too often, your care can be dictated and even restricted with the many requirements set by insurance plans. Through our membership-based care, we are able to focus on what's important...YOU! We're able to personalize your care by offering longer visit times, access to your provider through in-office visits (Tampa area), tele-health visits (from anywhere in Florida), and by text message, as well as discounted rates for other care services like prescription medications, labs, imaging, and nutritional supplements. Our members also receive discounted pricing for additional specialized care services that we offer.

How do I become a member?

That's easy! All you need to do is click the "Purchase Membership" button from the Direct Primary Care page. Once you have chosen your membership option and completed the sign-up process, you will register as a patient using our patient portal and schedule your appointment directly online using our self-scheduling service. If you aren't looking to become a member at this time but would still like to schedule a visit, please feel free to contact us directly at info@balanceforher.com and we'll be happy to assist you with scheduling a visit.

Do you accept HSA/FSA for payment?

Yes, we are happy to accept HSA for payment! We can also provide you with a visit statement if needed. Please note: it is your responsibility to know if your HSA will cover services provided by providers that are out of network.

Can I be a member and still use my insurance for labs, imaging, and prescriptions?

Yes, yes, and yes! You can use your insurance for any testing or medications ordered during your visit if you choose. Unfortunately, we would not be able to advise on any out of pocket expenses that may occur when using your insurance, but you can always reach out to your insurance department directly for more information.

Helpful Hint: Every insurance company is different. Always verify with your insurance if they require that you use a specific lab or imaging center prior to completing the test.

How is my membership fee billed and can I cancel my plan?

When you complete your new member registration you will provide a form of payment to be kept on file. This payment will be billed monthly for your membership fee until plan is cancelled by you. When cancelling your membership, we only ask that you provide a 30-day notice in writing. You will continue to have access to care for the duration of the last 30 days billed. This also provides you with time to find a new provider without losing access to care.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract to be a member?

Absolutely not! Your healthcare, your choice! We are happy to offer monthly memberships with no strings attached. We only ask that you provide a 30-day notice for cancellation of your membership and you would still maintain access to care throughout the final 30 days.
